The Semester Break

28th April 1991...the most memorable date in my life. That was the date I met (then), my future husband. We were introduce by a mutual friend. This friend till today, still couldn't believe it that we actually end up married. It was the best semester break I ever had. By the time I had to return to KL to continue my degree, I was so heartbroken as I won't be able to see him till the following year. The long distance relationship did worry me at first but we kept intouch thru letters. Trouble was brewing ahead of us though...he didn't have a college degree and I knew then, that my family would not approve of him. We continue to see each other during my semester break and that was the happiest time of my life. I knew that I wanted to be married to him at all cost. That was the start of an even bigger problem......
