I went to Everise the other day and had a shocked that the canned cuttlefish price has increased a lot since a year ago. I remember that a year ago the price was between RM5 to RM6 per can. Now the price is at RM10.60 per can. The thing that baffles me is that it is clearly written on the can "Buatan Malaysia". How come a locally canned food price can increased so much? Normally an increased in price is associated with the increased in petrol price. So for every can we are charged RM4.60 (assuming the price is at RM6 a year ago) worth of petrol to deliver it to the customer??? Is there any logic to this????????? Maybe someone out there can enlighten me a on this matter....
